Thought it would be a nice idea to post about new gadgets that should come in extremely handy in the Third World.
Danish company Lifestraw, winner of numerous design and innovation awards, has invented a tool that produces safe drinking water, and it's only $3.Supposedly it can quench a users' thirst for 1 year without needing to replace any parts at all. I thought that's pretty much brilliant. More details in the video below.

and keep you updated on all the latest and greatest through RSS feeds!
More
tools and services are added each day and it's fun to watch the service
grow - already it is being supported by many international developers.

Came across a bunch of stuff recently: sites, videos, ideas, and ideals. They
are from across the globe so I wanted to put together some of them in this short
post. The reason for choosing them was that all of them have left a mark on my
brain and made me realize again and again how communication has evolved and what
means people can choose from to get their thoughts/issues/ideas/skills across
the world.
To begin with I want to point to this video on You Tube, where an outraged Brit shares his disappointment on what most of us value a lot these days. Here it is:
The first one one is a site, which shows the carbon dioxide emission for each country in the world, as well as their birth/death rates in real time. I am posting this because it was something that I always read about in statistical form. It crazy to see the data move in front of your eye. Check it at: http://www.breathingearth.net/
Video Jug is Life Explained On Film and basically provides all the practical "How-To's" for everyday life. Users post their home made videos on how to solve problems as well tips and tricks. It's quite brilliant actually and a great resource to browse through. Visit: http://www.videojug.com/
A nice and fun idea comes from Google for all "green" travelers. I wanted to share this find because it combines the green conscious soul with interactive technology, such as Google Maps and informative videos. If you are looking to visit the U.S. soon, here are 5 ideas aout where/why to go in 5 major U.S. cities.
So this is something I thought had been figured out way back in the day, but it turns out that the old saying "you learn something new everyday" just taught me that T-Shirt folding can still be improved upon.
If you think that's insanity, you can check out how to fold a t-shirt in 2 seconds (!!) right here:
