I am proud to show yet another animated short, from my main man GRX!
This one is called "So It Goes", enjoy!
This is brilliant, and something I have been wanting to post for a while.
But first, I need to explain how it all came about.
When I lived with a few of my friends (Amando, Ian, Mert, and Tom) in a warehouse for the last 3 years before we all moved out, Tom was the only one in the house without a cell phone. We still had a landline so if the phone rang, it would be either for Tom or a telemarketer. Hence, we pretty quickly established the "Not It" game, when the phone rang. Otherwise, nobody would even answer, and Tom was NEVER home when the phone rang for him.
Eventually, both Amando and I got so inspired by this "ordeal" (we'd answer the phone with "Sorry, Tom is not in!" and people would still ask "Is Tom around??") that we started writing/composing/recording an answering machine for Tom that would be so ridiculous, people would not want to call back. Sure enough, people did call back, but only to hear it again.
So here it is for all to hear. Mad respect for Amando (aka. BD) for presenting it in brilliant fashion! And special thanks go out to blog neighbor/roommate/friend Florian for actually still keeping it on file. Also to Tom for giving us the inspiration and for making Piece By Piece with Nick! Enjoy!
damn, we just had a pretty "nice" earthquake here in the SFC. Usually I sleep through most of them or find myself on a couch, unaware of the shaking ground below me. Luckily Ian was in so we were able to save our fish tanks from spilling over.
By the way, we lost a Tiger Oscar yesterday. It jumped out of the fish tank and onto our sleeping guest on the couch, Florian (pictured below).
Florian proceeded to turn over in his sleep to crush the suffocating fish and end it's time once and for all. Good bye tough guy, we'll miss you. Especially the remaining two Oscars who could use your help with Number 1 - the Green Terror Chiclid (pictured below).
k, here is something brilliant from Maximillion himself. Straight out of Vienna he's been at the top of his game for decades, together with his camera, talent for sound and creative thought he has created yet another timeless classic!
Don't touch that dial, this is a hot one, a potential award winner: Enjoy!
